Lily is Ten Months Old!

Last Tuesday, Lily turned ten months!  She is a busy little bee and definitely keeps me on my toes!  She is curious, brave, and so so sweet!

She loves to find Max's toys and tries to get into his food too. I have to put it on the counter when she's on the move. :)

She has now eaten various recipes that have included chicken, turkey, and pasta. She loves all three.

Here are a few pictures and what she is loving right now:

Lily loves:
**clapping toys together
**saying "doh doh"
**kissing EVERYTHING!
**playing in water
**dancing

Meeting Avery Carriere!

Nola baby!

She loves the grocery store!

Eggs are fun :)

Right after she gave him a good morning kiss :)

Beach Bums!

Lily's first beach trip was such a success!  We went to Destin, FL for three nights and stayed right on the beach.

It's crazy how much extra stuff we had to bring for this little baby!  Here we are loaded down and about to leave!

We took our lunch break at Bass Pro, where Lily "colored" and looked at the fish.

We knew that first evening that we wouldn't be at the beach long, so we went down in our clothes instead of changing into swimsuits. Lily played with the sand a bit; she definitely looked a little confused by it!  Once it got on her face, she hated it. :)

The next morning, we went down to the beach for about an hour and a half. We brought Lily's bathtub and filled it with water for her to play in. She had lots of fun, but was still getting used to the sand.

After a little beach time, we went back up so Lily could nap. Then we went to lunch and shopping at the HUGE outlet mall. That evening, we went swimming in the pool. Lily LOVED it!  She hung out in her little float and kicked her feet the whole time!

The next morning, we repeated the routine. It worked well, so we stuck with it!

Stro took Lily down to put her feet in the water, and she loved it!

Heading out for lunch and shopping on day two!  This time we went to Baytowne Wharf, where there are lots of restaurants, shops, and tons of kid-friendly activities. Definitely keeping it in mind for when Lily is older!

Love that they have the exact same expression on their faces!

Lily rode the carousel and had so much fun!  This big smile lasted for the whole ride!

That evening, we dressed Lily up and took her down to the beach for a photo shoot. I love these pictures!

One more dip in the pool, and this time she had even more fun!

We headed back home the next morning. It was a great trip; the biggest win is that NOT ONE of us came back with even the tiniest sunburn!!!
