Here are some fun playtime pictures:
She does really well playing on her own in the playpen for a while; she scoots all over in that thing!
I'm really not a fan of big, bulky baby toys, so I've made a few of my own. (Thanks, Pinterest!)
This is a tension rod with duct tape-covered toilet paper rolls attached to our living room ottoman. Lily likes to sit and spin the rolls.
This is a sensory toy made of hair gel, beads, duct tape, and a ziploc bag. It's super squishy and brightly colored, so she reaches for it a lot. It would also make a great stress reliever for adults! :)
I have a few more ideas and projects, so I'll share them when they're complete!
Water play outside (and yes, of course the water was eventually spilled!)
Playing with blocks in her room
Playing in her high chair- her first time with (heavily sanitized) Mardi Gras beads. She loved the noise of the beads against her tray!
She also discovered the strap in her car seat and loves playing with it too!
