Well, actually, Lily was into pictures of Santa, but not Santa himself. :) So this was her Santa pic this year!
Christmas crafts!
Playing with the cutest nativity set that Aunt Jamie and Uncle Jonathan got for her!
She loves the train at the mall!
We also had a train in our Christmas village decorations that she loved watching...
...and then Stro outdid himself and bought her a remote control train for under the Christmas tree!
She loved it and played with it just about every day!
Another thing she played with so often was our Christmas sensory bin! I dyed rice red and green, then mixed it with white, and added Santas, jingle bells, trees, and ornaments. The best part is that it was all stuff we already had- the only thing I bought was the rice!
She loved pouring, scooping, making cakes, burying the ornaments, and of course, getting inside the tub.
Celebration in the Oaks at New Orleans City Park...
...complete with the train ride...
...and the carousel!
Cute set up at Cracker Barrel...Stro helped Lily write her letter and she dropped it off for Santa
Super fun cookie decorating party at the McClouds
Cute kiddos
Yum!
Lafreniere Park had a pretend snow day! It actually was pretty cold that day, and they brought in ice to play in! Lily and I joined the McClouds for a fun morning!
On the top right, she even sat in a fire truck! On the bottom right, she's on the carousel with Axel.
Three cute snowmen!
Photo shoot at church!
At dinner before driving through Lafreniere Park to see all of Al Copeland's old lights
We let her ride in the front seat through the park, and she thought that was the best thing!
Eating beignets afterwards!
Café du Monde cuties!
We also went downtown to Fulton St., where Lily played in fake snow!
Inside a giant ornament of lights!
We ran into our friends the Slessingers and took pics with them in front of the big tree.
When Stro was little, he went to his mom's work every year to see Santa. This is Santa's last year, so he thought it would be fun if Lily got to go too! Again, she wasn't too sure of Santa, so the top right was her reaction when he came into the room. She didn't want to sit on his lap, but she did love that he gave her a present!
Finally, a little fun for Mom, a trip to the Roosevelt hotel with the girls...
...and for Mom and Dad, a fun Christmas party at our friend Nikki's!
I'm so glad Stro was home so much during the Christmas season; we really got to have a lot of family fun!
