Lily is 3!!

Lily's 3rd birthday was the most fun yet!  I loved this year because she was interested in specific things- movies, books, toys, and that meant she got so excited when she saw gifts relating to those things!  On her birthday, we spent the day at home doing lots of fun things.  It was a work week for Stro, but it worked out perfectly for him to be home the majority of the day.

While Stro rested after working all night and Eli napped, Lily and I had lots of fun with ice and food coloring.

First she played in just the ice, the we dyed it red, green, blue, and yellow.  She loved shaking up the dish and watching the color appear.  Next, we put each dish under warm running water, so that the ice melted a bit.  And then she mixed the colored water all together.  She said, "where did all the pretty colors go?"  Haha 

After Stro got up, it was present time!  Her big gift was a tricycle that she loves.  She also got books, a Peppa Pig nightgown, and some games for us to play together.

Eli loved the wrapping paper!

She immediately wanted to play her Frozen game :)

 

Next up- cupcakes!  She even helped bake them  :)
